Any sign-ups after  Friday, April 12  will not be eligible for bus transportation at the start of the summer program. You can still sign up and request bus transportation, but students will not be routed to ride a bus until summer sessions.

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Greenville County Schools is committed to providing the necessary support to ensure the success of your child.   Based upon a review of your child’s current academic performance, he/she is not presently on track to pass ELA and/or Math and demonstrate grade level proficiency by the end of the year. Any child who does not successfully complete the program may be required to have a parent meeting with Administration to determine placement for next year.

The summer school program is a FREE four-week summer program that will provide your child with the opportunity to receive small group, intensive instruction in the areas of reading, writing, and math.  Students are required to attend face-to-face, and there is no virtual option for this program.  

The program will operate from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday for four weeks in the summer. Bus transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided at no cost. Transportation will not be provided for students that are on school choice/change in assignment.
