GEN is seeking candidates for our newly created GEW State Coordinator positions. State Coordinators (SC) will serve as an extension of the GEW USA Host in their state.

WHO IS A STATE COORDINATOR?
A State Coordinator (SC) is someone who is well connected in ecosystems throughout their state, knows the actors, and is able to galvanize action. Candidates should be aware of the strengths and challenges their state experiences in terms of entrepreneurship.

STATE COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• The SC will attend at least one virtual training with the GEW USA Host, Ellen Bateman
• The SC will serve as a GEW USA Ambassador and encourage participation throughout the state by sharing
        messaging and resources
• The SC must coordinate monthly with the state’s CO’s and the GEW USA Host to provide updates
• If a community does not have a CO, the SC should actively seek out an ecosystem builder who could fill the
        role
• The SC will be responsible for getting high level actors/VIPS to participate in GEW and connect them to CO’s
        to participate in activities or events when appropriate
• The SC should be collecting data about the GEW activities happening throughout the state
• The SC must complete the Post GEW Survey
