Who is running the market?

Hamilton Our Town will be working with David Johnstone Stall hire who are providing standard traditional market stalls with built in 8ft x4ft tables for these dates. Hamilton Our Town run the business improvement district in Hamilton town centre and dates as standard are subject to final approvals. Vendors agree that your email address may be used in vendor communications and that this may be available for other vendors to see.

Why are we running this market?

Our primary goal is to generate footfall into Hamilton town centre. We also aim to provide a great visitor experience through an excellent schedule of events and a high standard market. Our organisation does not gain profit from our activities and we also manage a registered charity.

What type of markets are these?

We plan to run a combination of street festival / Gala markets alongside stand alone high quality markets within the Regent Shopping Centre. We recognise the huge benefit in vendors being involved in well attended street events. However, there is also a demand for an indoor market particularly in poor weather conditions. Vendor product quality and display standards will be important in attracting footfall.

What are the set up plans?

Stalls will be available from 8am each market day morning. Market opens at 10am and closes at 4pm. Detailed information will be provided to each vendor ahead of each date.

Market cancellations:

In the event that a market is cancelled vendors will receive a full refund. Events, in particular outdoor events are subject to weather conditions and therefore short notice cancellations may take place. Vendors must tell us if they are not attending at least 48 hours before cancelling or they will be charged in full.
