Spiritual Assessment 2024-25

We pray that throughout our past year of being a member of Village Church, that each Villager would grow deeper in their faith, go further in their journey following Christ as his disciple, and more authentically and personally live a life on God’s mission.

But how can we know the state of our spiritual life? This yearly self-assessment is one resource we believe will serve all Villagers to honestly review and take stock of the past year of their spiritual life, holistically focusing four areas of God, Self, Community and World.

The result of going through the self-assessment may be a mixture of celebration, sober remembrance, challenge and inspiration. Village pastors look forward to meeting with you to talk about your responses if you wish. Simply email info@villagebeaverton.com or a pastor you feel connected to and we’ll find a time to meet, in person or on zoom, your preference.

This is a personal assessment, and your responses will not be seen by others. You will have the opportunity to review your assessment later this year as a touch point in your 2025 faith journey.

We invite you to pause and settle your heart and mind to complete this reflective assessment. Think back on the past year; look through your photos, look back on your calendar. Pray for wisdom, discovery and discernment, and begin this assessment when you are ready.

The entire assessment should take you 10 to 30 minutes to complete.

*Village does not keep the record of your self-assessment. You will receive your copy of your assessment to the email you provide below.

My relationship with God, God's presence in my life in 2024

God was real in my life in 2024, as I welcomed His leading in my day to day routine and experiences:

I turned to God in prayer as part of the natural flow of my day:

My year was marked by moments and opportunities where I personally witnessed God at work in my and others’ lives:

In moments of my own heartache and distress, God was first when seeking answers and solutions. I trusted in His sovereignty in my life:

In moments of triumph, joy and celebration, God was first to receive my praise and gratitude:

Through Sunday services, my DNA Group, classes and special seminars, the image and my knowledge of God was expanded this year:

Through interactions with people of different backgrounds than my own, the image and my knowledge of God was expanded this year:

In times of doubt and uncertainty, God’s grace was real:

I was aware of needing to repent, to turn around back to God, for my sin. I was aware of needing God's restoration for my shame.

My desire to live my life for God, on His mission for the restoration of the world, grew this year:

Praise, prayer, comments:
