General info
The present questionnaire aims at recording the views of the climbing community on the protection of wildlife with which it's sharing the rocks' habitat. Such a survey is being undertaken for the first time in Greece and has been created as a continuation of the web-tool   " Outdoor activities Sensitivity Mapping " originally targeting at the Project areas where the LIFE Bonelli eastMed  Project is being implemented. Gradually, we intend on expanding the sensitivity mapping in order to cover as many species and areas as possible. The purpose of the survey is not to register problematic cases nor highlight unwanted behaviors, but rather to evaluate the degree of environmental awareness among the climbing community, to investigate the willingness of its members in having an active participation in wildlife protection and to find the most effective ways of collaboration between climbers, environmental organizations and authorities.
