Glenview Middle School in partnership with the Nita M. Lowey 21st CCLC Afterschool Program will host our 3rd Annual Multicultural Family Event on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11am - 2pm.
We’d like to extend an invitation to your family to host a table that includes artifacts, information, and possibly a hands on activity representing your families native country, culture or an ethnic group you would like to showcase. Please see below other ways you can help out through your employer and/or an organization or group your family is affiliated with.
•
Host an informational table with details on how your agency/organization serves our diverse community.
•
Entertain our guest with a performance celebrating your groups heritage and/or culture.
•
Provide an onside service to our families who are attending that day. Legal counsel, health screenings related to issues that most effect ethnic groups, housing opportunities, self-empowerment, GED/college completion.
•
Your idea. We are open to it! Please contact Teresa Dothard-Campbell by phone or email and share more information.
In addition to this day of FREE FAMILY FUN, current 5th graders can get their 6th grade required physical completed through our partnership with CHC. Their staff will be on site conducting physicals in a private room. To sign up or to receive more information, please be sure acknowledge below.
