My services for a Registry Marriage Ceremony are regulated by the Registrar-General of Births, Deaths and Marriages and guided by Celebrants Aotearoa.
This information sheet outlines all the Terms and Conditions of a Registry Ceremony.

The important things to understand are:
- Registry Marriage Ceremonies are short, simple, and time-efficient for all involved. Either:
a) I will arrive five minutes before your agreed ceremony start time and spend a maximum of half an hour with you.
OR b) You will arrive at the agreed location where your registry ceremony will be held, about five minutes before your ceremony start time. Please ensure all of your guests arrive at the agreed time. The ceremony must be completed within the allocated 30 minute period. Please note:- There is no prior meeting between the celebrant and couple.
- Communication is kept to a minimum.
- The ceremony cannot be personalised in any way.
- You are required to arrange your witnesses.
- No commercial photographer.
- A maximum of 10 guests, or less, depending upon the celebrant's requirements.
This form explains clearly the terms and conditions under which a registry ceremony can occur.
If any of these terms and conditions do not suit you, you must hold a personalised ceremony.
I would be delighted to help you if you would like to explore this option.
