PAYMENT PLANS  and METHODS 2022
I would agree to the above payment plans above. (Prices may be adjusted each new Semester. Notice would be given in advance.) *
Performance Opportunities:  All performances will be recorded. These may be posted on Mrs. Farrell's website, www.PianoEveryDay.com, or Facebook  and Youtube pages. For under-aged students, parents must give permissions for these postings . Creating videos where everyone agrees their child can be videoed is easiest for Natale. I give permission for videos of my child or myself to be posted on the above social media platforms. *
A few PERFORMANCES and ACTIVITIES are planned throughout the year. Participation is greatly encouraged. Recitals and Soirees are held on weekends and are free.  *

STUDIO POLICY

REVISED  March 11th, 2024

1) Two payment plans are available: The STANDARD and FLEXIBLE plans. See above for costs.   Payments can be made by check, cash, or online through  Venmo [@Natale-Farrell] PayPal [pianonatale@gmail.com] (fees may apply) or Zelle (free) [natalefarrell@gmail.com].

2) For the STANDARD plan, all lessons for the month must be paid on the FIRST DAY of each month. The STANDARD PLAN means you are reserving a spot on Natale's calendar for a specific day and time that is yours alone, unless you cancel. If you cancel, that slot might be given away for that day and time to another student for a make-up class only.

It is assumed that there are 4 lessons in a month, but each month might have a different number of lessons due to the calendar, plus any days off.  Please check the Live Calendar to count the number of lessons in that month.  https://docs.google.com/document/d/18hVrtniiRytFwVKB8pqDaoJHaobRvyxaBv4_exJ2vWc/edit?usp=sharing

3) For the FLEXIBLE plan, students pay the day before coming using an online payment platform.  The FLEXIBLE PLAN is for students who only want to come occasionally when an agreed upon time is available for both Natale and the student.

4) To cancel a lesson, please email or text 24 hours in advance. If the cancellation is made formally, there is no refund, but the student will be able to reschedule at another time based on availability for a $5 fee.  The Fee must be paid before the make-up lesson takes place.

5) If a cancellation is made formally (email or text) on the same day of a scheduled lesson, there is no refund, but the student will be able to reschedule at another time based on availability for a $10 fee. The fee must be paid before the make-up lesson takes place.

6) “No show” lessons cannot be refunded.  If a student cancels their make-up lesson, they still must pay the first fee and then reschedule again for a second fee.

7) Make-up lessons must be made up within each semester. These might be available during  breaks or on days when another student has canceled. See the website calendar where a "NO----" is placed in front of a student's name for availability.

8) Any cancellations made by the teacher will be rescheduled as soon as possible or money will be refunded.

9) Students who decide to stop taking lessons should wait until the end of the month (please send a courtesy call, email, or text stating that the student wishes to discontinue lessons).

10) Lessons still occur on Labor Day, Columbus Day,  Memorial Day, Election Day, MLK Day, and President’s Day.

11) No Lessons will occur on Thanksgiving Week, Winter Break, and Spring Break (Fulton County Schools).

12) Prices will increase with inflation on a Semester basis. I have not increased my prices since 2022, so I am planning to increase my lesson prices in the Fall Semester 2024.

In the near future, there will be a New Mobile App, SKEDULIN, that you can use to schedule and pay for lessons and schedule make-up lessons. It will be free to use as a student.

Helpful hints for online lessons:   1) Have your camera standing still with a side view of the keys. Some people prop up the camera's in clever ways using shoes, or stands made of legos!   2) Have the camera stand a bit higher than the student's head so the keys and students hands are visible from above.   3) Call Mrs. Farrell on Facetime (678-836-6087) or Skype (natalefarrell2016), or send a Zoom link.   4) Natale can organize Zoom, meetings, too.  5) Have a pencil nearby.   6) Have sticky tabs to put on assigned Homework.   7) Have all the sheet music already printed out and in a binder for easy access.   8) Get a binder that can fold backwards so it can stand up on the piano easily. (Kroger sells the Avery Brand 1.5 inch rings).   9) For the younger students, a parent should be around for the first few lessons.  10) Usually only one person can talk and play at a time, so it is important to listen carefully for when the teacher is talking.  11) It is best to be sure the device used to call in does not have any other apps open, because it can slow down the internet. If the lesson gets disconnected, just call back.  12) When playing the piano, have Original Sound ON if you are on ZOOM, which can be added in your Audio Settings. 13) MOST IMPORTANTLY: Any background sounds get amplified over to the teacher's device, and makes it impossible for the student and teacher to hear.  Please have other family members and dogs be quiet during lessons.
Thank you!  If you have any comments, questions or suggestions, please ask them below or call Natale at 678-836-6087.
