The SPEEDS Symposium takes place on Thursday, 9th May, 10am-4pm, in UCC's Centre for Executive Education, 1 Lapp's Quay, which is located in the heart of Cork city. The core aim of this Symposium is to reflect on teaching and learning practices in social policy and the social professions (including social work, social care, youth work, community development, and early years education), particularly focusing on the opportunities and challenges of digital technologies. We also welcome attendance from the wider academic community, including those who are engaged in social justice-oriented education in cognate disciplines, such as planning, psychology, sociology, education, criminology, philosophy, law, etc.

The event opens at 10am with the first welcome address at 10.30am.
