The European Rural Youth Parliament is a powerful platform of making youth opinions regarding rural development challenges heard in European level. The most urging issues will be identified and brought to the table to find solutions tackling them. The event will take place in Asturias, Spain from 4 till 6 November 2019. More than 70 young professionals from around 10 countries will be gathering to state youths’ perspective on European Rural manifesto. Later, constructive discussions with European Parliament representatives will be held in Brussels.

European Rural Parliament (ERP) will take place right after the Youth Parliament from 6 to 9 November 2019 (more info: https://erp2019.eu). Two youth representatives of each country will be chosen to bring their vision in the discussions of ERP and to present the outcomes of Youth Parliament.

At the end of January 2020,  a group of participants (one youth representative from each country) will meet with decision-makers in Brussels to engage in a conversation regarding issues highlighted in the ERYP.
16. Would you be possible for you to purchase the tickets for travel to Asturias, Spain and receive reimbursement afterwards? *
The participation in the program of the ERYP is free of charge. The costs of travel, accommodation and meals for: a) a limited number of participants from rural areas of Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Kosovo, Latvia, North Macedonia, Slovakia and Spain will be covered by RURBEST project through the Erasmus+ Programme of European Commission; b) participants from other countries might be covered by the ROAD project by Europe for Citizens program or need to be covered themselves. NB! Possible scenarios will be communicated individually with selected participants afterwards. The organizers will try to find resources for motivated participants from other sources.
