This is a survey to sign up for a debate program geared towards Black and Latinx students, who are chronically underrepresented in debate as an activity.

Our goal is to help those who are unrepresented in debate activities to gain the same advocacy skills acquired from debate.

At times like these, it is especially important to be able to voice opinions in an effective and productive manner to achieve real change in our country.

This program has two sessions: the Spark session for new debaters, and the Flame session for returning/experienced debaters.

There will be 90-minute long lessons held over Zoom every week starting in early October. Students who demonstrate interest in this program will be emailed to coordinate a meeting schedule.

Apart from weekly lessons, free, virtual tournaments will also be held periodically on NSDA Campus. Students from other debate teams/organizations will participate as well.
