Course Details:    WSET Level 2 Award in Wines for Hayden Beverage Spring Schedule---Sixteen hours of instruction will be presented in eight, two-hour classes.There are two different sections (groups) for the course:  1. LIVE IN BOISE Group-Tuesday/Thursday 4-6pm MST from 1/17/22 through 2/11/22; Exam 3/4/22@ 4pm MST       2. Exam Resit Policy---Students who have failed their previous WSET Level 2 Award in Wines exam may apply to re-sit the exam.  The exam re-sit fee is $100 and students will have one year from the course start date to sit the exam.  Any requests for examination re-sits must be sent in writing via email to: kat@thehowofwine.com or via mail: House of Wine 2913 N. Health and Safety Policy---The health and safety of our students, ourselves, and our community are of the utmost importance.  Some of these courses will be presented in person while others will be presented via video conferencing.  However, the exam must be held in person.  Please note that gatherings of any size will pose a heightened risk of COVID-19 transmission, and that older adults and individuals with existing health conditions are at particularly serious risk if they contract COVID-19 and should not attend.In light of the COVID-19 infection, the following policies are in place:---1.  Students who feel ill or show symptoms of illness such as fever, shortness of breath, and coughing may attend the online sessions remotely from their home but may not attend live sessions or the exam. 2.  Any students who have been in contact with a person with a positive confirmed case of COVID-19 may not attend any group sessions or the exam.  3.  Any person who has contracted COVID-19 in the past 14 days may not attend any group sessions or the exam.  4.  All attendees must wash their hands before and after the group sessions and exam and after breaks to ensure sanitary conditions.5. Educators and exam assistants will utilize proper sanitation for all set-up and clean-up.  6. Group session and exam attendees must be appropriately spaced.  7.  Additional preventative measures may be required and the above measured amended on the course date according to Hayden Beverage policy and state and local official policies. *
Release of Liability and Indemnification- --I have chosen to voluntarily participate in this Tutored Tasting, and acknowledge that this document is a binding legal agreement that waives my legal rights.I understand that the Program involves the tasting of wine. I am aware of the risks and hazards associated with or related to consuming alcohol. Furthermore, I am aware that the effects of alcohol can be severe, including impairment of my motor skills and judgment. I accept full responsibility in the event that my actions are affected by any alcohol I have chosen to consume.In consideration of the Releasees allowing me to participate in the Program, I agree: (a) to freely accept and assume all risks, dangers and hazards arising out of, associated with or related to my participation; (b) to be solely responsible for any injury, loss or damage that I might sustain while participating; and (c) to forever release the Releasees from liability for any and all claims, actions and costs that might arise out of my participation, even though such risks, injuries, loss, damage, claims, demands, actions or costs may have been caused by the negligence of the Releasees.I acknowledge that I have read the Program description, the conditions of my registration and participation, and this agreement in its entirety. I have executed this agreement voluntarily, and understand that this agreement is to be binding on myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and representatives. *
