中文學校的辦學宗旨
1. 中文學校是慕迪港頌恩堂的外展事工。教會希望藉中文學校每週的「週會」向學生傳揚褔音，讓他們明白真理；培養學生正確的道德觀和價值觀，讓他們學習如何愛神愛人。學校亦會舉行特別週會，讓學生家長及家人認識主耶穌基督。
2. 中文學校課程著重教育、培訓本地學生的讀、寫、聽、說中文的能力，傳承中國文化。
Mission of Chinese School
1. The Chinese School is an outreach service of Port Moody Pacific Grace MB Church. The Church intends to spread gospel to students through the Chinese School’s Weekly Assemblies and let them understand the true faith; develop the students with correct moral and values, let them learn how to love God and people. The School will hold special assemblies to let both parents and students know Lord Jesus Christ.
2. To encourage students to inherit the Chinese culture and values, the courses of Chinese School is to focus on developing students abilities in reading, writing, listening and speaking Chinese.
課程特色
1. 以廣東話授課，學習書寫繁體字和閱讀中文。
2. 課程級別：幼稚級(幼初班 和 幼高班); 小學級(小一至小六) 。
3. 透過活動教學，以遊戲、手工、唱歌、講故事、背誦聖經金句等，增加學生學習中文的興趣。
4. 學習語文過程中，培養學生正確的道德觀和價值觀，學習如何愛神愛人，並傳承中國文化。
5. 定期舉辦活動，透過活動，促進學生學習中文的機會，亦加強家長和老師的溝通。
上課時間：逢星期六上午10時正至下午12時30分
學費： 全年兩學期 (9月至1月；2月至6月)
幼稚級和小學級每學期學費 $180
Course Features
1. Lessons are conducted in Cantonese. Learn to write and read traditional form Chinese.
2. Class Levels: Kindergarten (K1 & K2); Elementary (Grade 1 to Grade 6).
3. To increase students’ interest in learning Chinese by using Activity Based Teaching Method through fun games, handcrafts, songs, storytelling, Bible verses, etc.
4. Cultivate students the correct moral and values, to learn how to love God and people, and inherit Chinese culture.
5. Organize regular events to promote students’ opportunity to learn Chinese through activities and strengthen effective communication between parents, teachers and students.
Class Time: Every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm
Registration Fee: 1st Term (September to January); 2nd Term (February to June)
Term Fee for Kindergarten and Elementary: $180
