2021 Graduation
Congratulations to the class of 2021 and their parents for not only making it to such a momentous occasion, but to have made it despite the hurdles and challenges that were placed in your path.

We are excited to announce that graduation will be in-person on June 3rd at 6:00 pm in the Royal High School stadium.  If you have been to graduations here in the past, it will look a little different due to the protocols we must follow....but all of that seems insignificant compared to the fact that we will be able to celebrate together as our class of 2021 walks across the graduation stage!

Each graduate will be allowed four tickets for immediate household members only. The graduates attending in-person will be issued their four tickets at cap and gown pick up on June 2. In order to be "cleared" for their tickets, students must have been cleared of financial obligations at ASB, cleared with the Library, and have submitted the COVID graduation protocol agreement stating the following:

1.  No one in your party is an out-of-town guest
2.  You will wear a mask the entire time in the stadium
3.  You will self-screen for COVID symptoms prior to arriving at the event and stay home if you have any
      symptoms.
4.  You will submit to random temperature screenings upon entry to the stadium
5.  You will maintain required physical distancing of 6 ft. from all other attendees not from your immediate
      household
6.  You will leave campus immediately following the ceremony

This acknowledgment will be emailed at the end of May to the primary email address in Aeries for each graduate attending in-person.

Unfortunately, there are no exceptions, and we apologize for the inconvenience that may cause some families.  However, we have contracted with a professional company who will be livestreaming the event to ensure that all of your families and friends will be able to virtually attend graduation.  We will post the link to the livestream in the senior bulletin in the coming days prior to graduation.

In addition, at graduation we will have a giant LED screen positioned behind the stage to ensure that everyone in the stadium, regardless of seating, will have a close up view of the event.  For graduates who choose to attend virtually, their name will be announced and their graduation picture shown on the screen during the presentation of graduates.

Those attending in-person MUST have purchased a cap and gown.  If you have not made a purchase through Jostens and need assistance, please contact our office manager at harriet.hunsaker@simivalleyusd.org by May 7th at the latest.

At this time, we need all graduates to select whether they will be attending graduation live or virtually so that we can plan accordingly and ensure every graduate is represented during commencement.  If you are unsure whether or not your senior has met the requirements and credits to graduate, please reach out to their school counselor.

Thank you for indicating your selection below, and we look forward to celebrating with you (whether it's virtually or in person) at graduation.  Please contact the ASB if you have any questions.

Regardless of whether a student attends graduation in-person or virtually, all graduates will be able to return to campus on June 4th to pick up their diplomas and pose for pictures at our multiple photo spots (a schedule will be forthcoming).

If you have more than one senior graduating, please fill out a form for each one.
