District-C Business "Teamship" Interest Form
GRACE is excited to offer a new 4-day internship elective for high school students interested in applying their education to real-life problems in real-life businesses. In partnership with local non-profit District C, students will receive training focused on teamwork, leadership, and design thinking before they tackle the presented problems. After weeks of research, development, and virtual collaboration, students pitch their ideas to their partner businesses.

The goal of this elective class is to develop students' ability to engage in analytical problem solving, design solutions, work as part of a diverse team, and develop a critical awareness of areas for self-improvement. The most successful District C students come into the process anxious (and sometimes even very nervous) but excited to be a part of something that feels challenging and uncertain. They are 100% committed to being present and engaged, even if they don’t entirely know what to expect. Explain why you are a good candidate for the District C Internship Elective   *
