The subject matter for orations and the presentation must be original and completely developed by each orator.  Each orator must be:

- a member in good standing with his/her Key Club. There is a maximum of two (2 members) from each club.

- is required to complete this ORATORICAL CONTEST ENTRY form and file by the Registration Deadline.  

- will be allowed a maximum of five (5) minutes for his/her presentation.  Exceeding the time limit may result in a penalty.

- must present a typed, doubled-spaced copy of his/her oration, to the chairman of judges for the oratorical contest.  

- must wear “professional business attire” for the contest.
 
- may not use note cards, copies of the oration, or outlines of the oration while delivering his/her oration.  

The FIRST PLACE WINNER may appear during the Key Club District Convention to present his/her winning oration.
