There are 16 male and 16 female wildcard positions available, to be distributed amongst skaters who have submitted for wildcard positions after Zone teams are named. Any Zone submitting a legitimate wildcard application will automatically receive one wildcard position (per gender submitted). Further wildcard positions will be distributed based on the best (lowest) combined 400m+1500m time. Times must be skated in sanctioned competition between August 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 on the 100m track. Manual times will have 0.2 seconds added to them.
