Please complete the following form to request permission for your child to walk home from school unaccompanied. You will be sent confirmation that we have received the form and your child's records updated accordingly.

I understand that if an after-school club is cancelled, my child will be permitted to walk home unaccompanied.

IMPORTANT: Knightwood staff act 'in loco parentis' during the school day. That means we are legally responsible for the safety and safeguarding of your child. 

If your child travels to/from school unsupervised by an adult, your parental responsibility is in effect until they are physically admitted inside the classroom in the morning and your parental responsibility recommences as soon as they are dismissed at the end of the day.
