Belgium has committed to promote and integrate a Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) into its development cooperation. It aims at promoting a common language, understanding and attention to the added-value of mainstreaming a Human Rights-Based Approach to Development (HRBAD) among all Belgian development actors, while respecting their autonomy and specific mandates, procedures, methods, partnerships and priorities. DGD has asked the Policy Supporting Research Group on Human Rights-Based Approach to Development to study the current implementation of a HRBAD in Belgian cooperation. This survey aims at collecting information on the perceptions and practices of Belgian development cooperation actors on the HRBAD. It is therefore addressed to a large panel of actors from governmental, non-governmental cooperation and the private sector development.
Your participation to this survey will help develop tools, guidelines and training materials that are as relevant as possible and that take into account the diversity of challenges facing the different Belgian development stakeholders. Please, complete it by the 30th April 2021 by using this online questionnaire.
