Think about the most recent IEP you attended. Who did the majority of the talking? How involved was the student? When we talk about students taking ownership over their learning through inquiry and learning professional skills - do we apply these concepts to all of our learners?  Research shows that students who actively participate in their IEP meetings are more likely to be employed and/or enrolled in higher education after graduation. Just as compelling is the simple truth that shifting the power to students in IEPs makes your meetings better!  Learn how to use Student-Led IEPs to transform your hum-drum meetings and improve transition outcomes for your students. In this synchronous online workshop, participants will walk away with a clear understanding of the importance of why you should empower students to take over their IEPs, as well as practical planning tools, customizable templates, support strategies, and resources to get started with how to begin implementing Student-Led IEPs at your next meeting.  Facilitated by emeritus PBLWorks National Faculty, Kristen Uliasz.
