The first 4-6 weeks of introducing your cats to a new environment is critical for their safety. In order to help them learn where their new "Home Base" (and food source) is, you will need to keep them in an enclosed building/kennel during this transition period so they don't run off. Some examples include a covered dog run, an old shed or barn, or a hay loft with a door! Just someplace that the cats can call their own, with all their supplies (food, water, litter box), but they aren’t able to get out of! Do you have something like this on your property? If not, tell us about your property and we may be able to help provide enclosures. *
