BACKGROUND
The SocialBusiness4SDG Leadership Academy is an action learning platform of the SDG Corps Program. The Academy will harness youth’s limitless innovative thinking and skills to address social and environmental problems within their community. This will be a grass-root strategy in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Participants are invited to register in groups of groups of 6 (with 1 assigned Team Captain) who reside in the same or nearby geographical locations as they will learn together through sessions in the Social Business Leadership Training. Participants may also opt to register individually then we will group them accordingly.
They will learn from their training and apply it to their group’s output— a project they can implement in their community/city for Sustainable Development. Each group will have their own skilled Action Learning Partner who will mentor them in the creation of the project and who they can learn closely from.
Online sessions for the Leadership Academy will kick off on September 22, 2020, also the start of the 75th UN General Assembly celebration. This aims to bring youth from around the world during the time of the pandemic as a call to action for our world to heal.
PARTICIPANTS

We want this program to be open to all young people, and experience the same trainings in many different ways. We also understand that economic stability at this time of the pandemic is very challenging.
