This camp is designed for students with previous theatre experience who have shown confidence on stage and are looking for a bigger challenge. Camp is for ages 11-15. Students must be 11 years old on or before July 29th, 2024 to be considered. We will perform a musical review. Students will also help backstage and sing in the ensemble for the Disney Kid's production. Students who have performed in past Ovation shows should email Director Noelle for permission and the registration link. New students please fill out this form to be considered for an audition. Students age 11-13 who are not accepted into the Standing Ovation program are welcome to sign up for the non audition summer program.

Please describe student's previous theatre and dance experience. Include roles performed, shows, dates, theatre, etc. *

Please prepare the following for the Standing Ovation program audition video:

- 1-2 minute section of a musical theatre song that showcases your voice sung to a karaoke track.

- Please make sure we can hear your voice clearly in the recording

- A long poem, 1 minute monologue, or other selection that shows off your acting skills (memorization is encouraged but not required)

- Choose a filming location with bright lights and a calm background

- Camera should be positioned far enough away so we can see head to feet and gestures

- We want to see students use facial expressions, body language, and emotions to bring out the character in the text, make the text come alive, show physical character even though they're reading the script, use clear diction and project their voices loudly, sing with expression

- we will send an email with instructions to submit the video once your application has been reviewed
