Registration for Bystander Intervention Workshop for Parents/Families
Saturday, April 17 from 1-2:30pm Eastern

We will email you a Zoom link after you submit this registration form

The Oberlin community shares the responsibility of creating a safe campus environment. Even when you’re not a direct participant in a potentially unsafe situation—when you’re a bystander—there’s a lot you can do to keep each other safe. Our student trainers (members of PRSM) will guide you through two scenarios where you must decide whether to intervene, and if so, what to do. You’ll learn how to identify the type of situation you’re facing and what your options are for intervening, if needed. This workshop is a modified version of the one all Oberlin students attend during their first year on campus. Pre-registration is required by 12:55pm Eastern on April 17.

Workshop space is limited. Please don't register unless you know you'll be able to attend. If you register then are unable to attend, please let us know so we can offer your space to someone who may be on the waitlist.
