The Warren is an open concept literary journal out of the University of Victoria publishing the creative works of undergraduates from around the world. Currently we are searching for a lead copyeditor for the 2019-2020 school year.

FAQ (Read Before You Fill Out)
Q: Are these positions paid?
A: No, the Warren is entirely volunteer run.

Q: What does being an editor entail?
A: You will be responsible for copyediting all Warren publications.

Q: Do staff contribute their own writing/art to publications?
A: Staff contributions to the annual publications are purely editorial. However, we do have an Editor's showcase night in the fall.

Q: Can I apply if I don't go to UVic/am not an undergraduate student?
A: At least 2/3rds of Warren Staff MUST be UVic Undergraduates. We will consider all applications but significant preference will be given to UVic Undergrads.

The next step in our hiring process is face-to-face interviews and we will be in touch via email to organize these. Depending on the volume of responses, we may not select everyone for an interview. That being said, we will still contact you regardless when we have reviewed your application.
