MIDDLE SCHOOL REALITY STORE
8th grade students are ConneCTEd to Reality in this real life "Game of Life"! Students choose a career and family situation, then make "purchases" based on the lifestyle they desire to live when they are older. Volunteers “staff” stations and help students make choices and gain a better understanding of the costs associated with their choices. Examples of stations include: housing, food, transportation, credit cards, etc.(Exact times are still TBD)
HIGH SCHOOL REALITY STORE
11th grade students are ConneCTEd to Reality in this real life "Game of Life"!  Students have more clearly defined potential career path and family situation to help them make "purchases" that align with the life style they hope to live. Volunteers “staff” stations and help students make choices and gain a better understanding of the costs associated with their choices. Examples of stations include: housing, food, transportation, credit cards, etc. (Exact times are still TBD)
READY.SET.INTERVIEW
RSI is a Mock Interview Event for students who want to keep their interview and employability skills ConneCTEd to current workplace practices! Students work ahead of the event to prepare the basics of a portfolio and understand interview techniques. This is a great way to connect with students who are working to perfect their employability skills and help them become better prepared for their future interviews and employment! (March 1st-3rd 2022)  
CAREER SEARCH
Career Fair for 10th Grade Students where the dots are ConneCTEd  from Employment--> Post-Secondary Training --> High School Education. Ultimately helping students understand how to obtain their dream career! (Dates and exact times are still TBD)
CAREER PATHWAY ADVENTURES
Discussions with 8th grade students to help them create a ConneCTEd understanding of the wide variety of careers that fit within each Michigan Career Pathway.  (Agriscience/Natural Resources, Arts/Communication, Business/Management/Marketing/Technology, Engineering/Manufacturing/Industrial Technology, Health Sciences, Human Services).
