2023 Basketball Season
Embers Academy boys and girls basketball teams are open to students in 4th and 5th grades.  The Basketball league has not yet set the season schedule, but we anticipate practices starting the second week of October, and games soon thereafter.  

LEAGUE INFORMATION:
Embers plays in the Suburban Catholic Conference against schools on the Near-North Side and local suburbs. We are always the visiting school and all games are played as the away team. Parents are expected to arrange for travel to and from games as there is no “team bus”.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
Practices will take place at Northridge for the boys teams and Willows Academy for the girls teams. Coaches will determine the day and length of practice times based on gym availability.


REGISTRATION & COST:  The cost for the season is $100/student.*
This covers all practices, games, league fees, referee fees, and team shirts. When you register your child for basketball, your Blackbaud account will be charged on the next billing cycle.

Registration is available by submitting out the form below. The deadline for registration is Monday, October 9, 2023.  Families who miss the Friday deadline may be denied a spot on this winter’s team.

Please Note:
Team space is limited and expected to fill quickly, so please be sure to sign up promptly.
We are still seeking parent volunteers for all grades. More volunteers are always appreciated!
