Creative Women of the World (CWOW) seeks women working in two dimensional art forms for 3-month solo exhibits at their retail store in downtown Fort Wayne.

CWOW is a non-profit, fair-trade store that offers business training and financial literacy to women internationally.
Eligibility: Self-identifying female artists, at least 18 years of age (artists ages 14-17 may enter with written consent from a parent or guardian), residing in the United States are eligible. All media will be considered. All artwork must have been created in the past two years. All artwork must be the original work of the artist. Reproductions will not be accepted.
Events: Accepted artists will have the opportunity to have an artist reception at CWOW, tbd.
Entry Procedure: Complete the Google Form. If you do not have a website, you must email 3-5 examples of your artwork to
Becky@gocwow.org. Only online digital entries/applications will be accepted.
Requirements and Other Expectations:--All artwork must be ready to hang. This includes exhibition quality framing and/or matting, mounting, and/or hanging wires. Poster frames are not considered exhibition quality framing. Identification labels with artist name and title should be securely attached to the back of the artwork.
--Artists are expected to meet all deadlines.
--Artists must deliver their completed artwork to Creative Women of the World, 125 West Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802, during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 11 am - 5 pm; Saturday, 11 am - 5 pm). Artists shipping their work are responsible for all costs (this includes insurance/return shipping of unsold artworks).
--All artwork must remain at CWOW through the duration of the exhibition. An acceptation will be made for artwork that sells if a customer would like to take the works home before the end of the exhibition, due to the nature of our organization having a retail store.
--Artwork left at CWOW for longer than 30 days after the close of the exhibition will be considered abandoned and becomes property of CWOW.
--CWOW is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Delivery of Artwork: Please check-in all artwork (clearly labeled) to Becky Stockert, CWOW Executive Director, 260-267-9048,
Becky@gocwow.org Labels should include: artist’s name, title of artwork, medium, and price.
Sale of Artwork: Artists will be paid 60% of the sale price on sold artwork. Payouts are paid quarterly.
Image Rights: CWOW reserves the right to use images of submitted artwork for publicity and promotional purposes throughout during exhibition and in the future, in perpetuity. Artists retain all rights to their artwork.
Artist Likenesses: CWOW may take video recordings of and photograph artists. Artists agree to allow CWOW to use their likenesses for publicity and promotional uses.
