Job Description:

Artisan & Barista | Part Time
We're looking for outgoing and motivated individuals to join The Dream Team! The ideal candidate is eager to learn, coachable, friendly, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide consistent, outstanding service with a smile
  • Make visitors feel welcome and appreciated by answering customer questions
  • Learn the menu offerings thoroughly to be able to provide recommendations and help customers in their decision making process
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and health guidelines and rules at all times.
  • Maintain a calm demeanor and set an example for other team members, especially in unusual circumstances 
  • Act with integrity and honesty and support fellow team members 
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure quality service and great teamwork
  • Optional: applicants with social media experience could help to manage Highland Dreamery's social media presence, including taking photos or videos of products, creating captions and posts, etc.
Qualifications:
  • 17 years or older
  • Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, in a professional environment
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and/or written instructions and ask for clarification when needed
  • Coachability - be open to learning new things and don't take constructive criticism personally
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Open availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
Compensation: $8.00 - 12.00 / hour, depending on experience
