DEGREES AND DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES

The degrees and diploma programmes are offered under four Schools, namely the School of Business and Law, The School of Humanities and Social Sciences and the School of Nursing Sciences.

We offer Bachelors Degrees, Diplomas in management, administration, Law and Business Skills programs and Short Courses in Southern Africa, delivered by a world class faculty or well qualified lectures. Preparing our students to contribute to the much-needed capabilities and skills in the world of work. The Law programme prepares students to gain access to professional law practice.

Our School of the Humanities and Social Sciences degrees and diplomas covers a wide range of disciplines with differing methodologies, from highly quantitative analysis of ‘big data’ to ethnography and the analysis of the material culture and thought of past societies preparing students to be professionals in this field.

Our School of the Nursing Sciences degrees and diplomas covers the degree in Nursing and the Diploma in nursing preparing students to be professionals in this field.

UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION PROGRAMME

The University Foundation programme has a set of courses that needs to be completed within a maximum period of 12 months. The programme provides an opportunity to students to build up capabilities and skills required for academic success and cover a range of subject specific content to fully prepare you for entry to an Undergraduate degree and the world of work relating to your specific chosen field of study.

Benefits:

Serves as a qualification fast track pathway for those that can't stay too long after completing secondary school (G12) without seeking employment for various economic reasons which is very common today. Four years at university is too much time for other they would rather get a quick qualification and continue studying to gain their degree and other further qualifications while maintaining a job that provides some income.

Jobs in many cases are no longer long term and career pivoting becomes a must. This is a great tool and aid in career pivoting for those that would like to change careers and those working in areas they do not have academic qualifications in by providing the necessary knowledge and skills to bridge the gap by students studying while working.

This further lets you gain direct entry into 2nd year of the specific programme should you wish to progress into the degree level by getting free exemption from 1st year courses.

At completion of the programme, you obtain an Advanced Certificate which giving you quick access to a qualification that enable you to competitively enter the world of work with necessary skills and capabilities to perform various jobs within your chosen field of study.
