What is 'the Fall'? What happened?

This is discussed in Genesis 3.

Humans disobeyed God. They refused to repent when they had the chance. They brought sin into the cosmos. They were thrown out of Paradise and into this world.

Humans are in opposition to God, and will someday rise up against Him.

After Summer is the Fall. This is when leaves fall down.

When the aliens came, they fell out of the sky and turned into humans.

Humans were created to do the wrong thing. They ate the wrong food and now God hates us.

How does the life of Christ (from Annunciation to Ascension) change the impacts of the Fall?

The Father hates us - but Jesus protects us from His anger. At the Crucifixion, the Father poured our all His anger on Jesus, and now the Father has run out of anger so He's not mad with us anymore.

The Father loves us, and Jesus was sent to bring us back to Him. At the Resurrection, Jesus destroyed the power of death over humanity. At the Ascension, Jesus rose to heaven, bringing humanity into the Trinity and making it possible for us to follow Him.

It doesn't really. We're still in our sins.
