Class information *
Students received all information including the student guide the first day of class. On the handout you will find a general overview of the course as well as policies and contact information. I have a Remind account available for both students and parents to use. Finally, my website contains copies of everything in detail. Do you have any questions for regarding any of the information in the guide or on my website?
We will be reading at least two class novels: Night by Elie Wiesel and The Kite Runner by Khalid Hosseini. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me. You may leave a comment here if you wish.
Students will be selecting their own novels for independent reading throughout the semester. I keep a library in my classroom with a variety of genres and levels. I do not monitor student choices, and some books may have mature themes or language. Students may switch to a different book at any point without penalty. Please acknowledge below.
