Community Volunteers are non-performing volunteers who serve in a supportive capacity to amplify the mission of CHEER Colorado through individual acts of service that help ensure CCO performances, fundraisers and collaborative projects are successful.
While there is only one opportunity annually to join as a performing volunteer (Tryouts) you can join as a community volunteer at any point throughout a season. You can learn more about the roles and responsibilities of Community Volunteers in our
Volunteer Handbook.
It is important that our volunteers connect with our Values (Safety, Philanthropy, Accountability, Respectability, Kindness) and understand the responsibilities of a volunteer role with CHEER Colorado.
To that end we require all of our volunteers to complete a values assessment. This assessment usually takes at least an hour to complete. Please take your time to show us who you are. This assessment is private and will only be reviewed by organizational leadership.
We try to review all applications on a weekly basis and send out result notifications on Sundays. If you don't hear back from us within a week please reach out to info@cheercolorado.org.
