We are looking for anyone (a volunteer) with an interest and passion in writing articles, stories and publications that are aligned with anything to do with the Geospatial Industry.
Before applying please note the following:
- this is a voluntary role
- meaning there will be NO renumeration whatsoever to any activities that are undertaken by the candidate.
- the sole purpose of this opportunity is to allow the youth to boost their skills through the African Surveyors Connect platform by leveraging our large community for an outreach and global showcase of talent and experience building while making an impact to the society.
What will be your roles as a volunteer in this position?
As a volunteer you will be joining the Editorial and Publications team while performing the following tasks at your own free will and free time,
- writing news articles, opinion articles and informative posts on the African Surveyors Connect blog page.
- sending our newsletters to email subscribers among other various platforms
- contributing towards the editing of our magazine (The Spatial Times)
- and any other publication activities the candidate might feel like performing that will benefit their experience and the community we serve.
The process
To evaluate your suitability for this opportunity, all interested candidates need to answer a set of free response questions that have been set out in this application form.

There is no limit currently to the number of volunteers that we need but once we feel we have had enough membership for this role, this opportunity will be closed.
