Wichita Falls Youth Symphony Orchestra Audition Application
To apply to audition for the WFYSO, please submit this application for May 2 audition. These auditions are for placement for the 2021-22 school year. The audition will happen on Sunday afternoon at The Forum 2120 Speedway, Wichita Falls, TX. A successful audition will guarantee the student placement for the entire school year. Returning members are not guaranteed to be admitted, but it is a factor which will be considered.

Students of diverse backgrounds and communities are strongly encouraged to apply. No student will be denied access due to race, gender, ethnicity, or inability to pay. Two orchestra levels are offered for a variety of musicianship levels. All parents are invited to have a voice in the organization.

Following the audition, new students will be notified of their placement in the group by mail. Returning members will be notified by email.  Member fees of 2021-22 will be due in September. On acceptance, all students will be offered an application for financial assistance. Should the season be cancelled due to the pandemic, fees will be prorated and refunded.
