Are you Jewish and Latino? Do you struggle to find a community on campus that completely understands you? Jewtinos @ Duke is here to be a community of Jewish-Latinos who want to meet others just like them. We are a cohort within the JLD community that has fun events and later in the semester a Latin-themed Shabbat dinner! We are a committee of Jewish-Latinos that will meet a few times throughout the semester and educate and share our culture with the greater Jewish and Latino communities here at Duke. This is meant to be low-commitment and purely fun. We are open to any ideas and suggestions about what you want this community to look like!
