Walk & Create - Urban Exploration Workshop
Walk & Create - Urban Exploration Workshop, organized as part of PLACCC Dance Festival and facilitated by the international collective walk · listen · create will made the participants more familiar with the ideas of the Situationists, the Society of the Spectacle, the manipulation of public spaces, and will be introduced to some strategies for subverting the tyranny of the corporate map. 

The participants will also have the opportunity to follow an introduction to the history of the area (outer parts of the 7th district of Budapest, also called Csikágó) by Dóra Kolocz historian. 

The workshop will lean on and have participants play with Dérive app, an award-winning mobile collaborative app and platform designed for urban exploration on the user’s own term. 

Date and time: 3pm - 7pm, 25th and 26th May 2023 

Location / Meeting point: Szendvicsbár Community Hub, 1078 Budapest, István u. 27.

Registration fee: 3000 HUF (normal) / 2500 Ft (students, pensioners, residents of 7th district)

The registration fee should be paid at Eventbrite after the registration. The registration can't be considered completed without the payment of the registration fee.
