**Please read completely before placing a request!**
Use this form to request the image of a page from the Iasi cemetery burial register. All of our work is volunteer-driven, and we rely on contributions from our supporters to put together projects such as these. As a result, we kindly request a $10 contribution per entry to the "Romania Research - General" fund. These records were graciously acquired due to the efforts of Reuven (Robert) Singer.
You can request up to 5 entries on this form, and you can always fill out an additional form if there are more records of interest. It may take us some time to locate everything, though, so please be patient, and we will be in touch soon!
Before you order a record, you should review what the records will look like. From 1883 to 1915, the records are written in Hebrew (often very challenging handwriting), after which they are written in Romanian (through 1966). There is generally no additional information on the originals beyond what is included in the JOWBR database. To view sample images of the records, click here:

To successfully request a record, you must have already located the individual within the JewishGen Online Worldwide Burial Registry (JOWBR), searchable here:
https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/. Records from Iasi are in the results for "Moldavia." This request form asks for specific information that is found on the JOWBR entry, which will be needed to locate the original record. Specifically, you must provide the link to the website so that it can expedite our process of locating records, e.g., when you are asked for the link below, you should copy/paste the URL from the JOWBR webpage, which should look something like this:
https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/cemetery/jowbr.php?rec=J_MOLDAVIA_0018892.
Contributions should be made only after our confirmation that we can provide the record of interest. Contributions will be made here, to the "Romania Research - General" fund, which will help us acquire additional records of interest:
