Our online round table discussion: "Queerness in China" is going to be set at
7pm- 8:30pm 17th April (London Time).
With three inspiring speakers: Dr Xing Huang (University of East Anglia), Mx Liang Ge (King's College London) and Dr Freestone (University of Birmingham), we will examine the challenges faced by the queer community in China and the role of medai as a tool of empowerment.
We welcome listeners from all backgrounds despite the understanding of our topics, as we will not only discuss the topics in the academic depth but also gives introductions on the preliminery concepts in Queer Theory.
Please feel more than free to ask questions to the speakers at our Q&A section of the panel. This form is also used for collecting the potential questions for the speakers to deliberate prior to the event.
