The Porter County plastic audit is a program to help the community understand how much single use plastic that they are using on a day to day basis. This program is designed to help the community take accountability for the amount of plastic that they are using. By taking accountability, the community as a whole will understand and be able to reduce the amount of single-use and non-recyclable plastics going into the various landfills.  All responses submitted will be reviewed by the Office of Sustainability at Valparaiso University and the Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County, and will therefore become a public record.
