Freshers Blitz Tournament
ONLY FOR CURRENT UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND STAFFS

7 rounds 3+2 blitz over the board tournament on the 20th of February @GH738, 5-8pm
£2 entry fee, free for club members , £30 £20 £10 as top prizes
For players who are beginner/weak intermediates, or players who are little to no over the board experiences.

Entry Requirment please read
The rating limit to enter the tournament will be around under 1200 for Chess.com, and Under 1400 for Lichess.
We will be lenient regarding your rating, so please contact unionsociety-chess@strath.ac.uk if you have any questions. The tournament is only open to current university students and staffs, entry can be denied on the day if the requirement is not met.
