The National Handicraft and Cottage Industries Development Board seeks to enhance its products and services to better facilitate the empowerment of relevant practitioners and the growth of their respective industries. The Board endeavors to effectively play its role toward shaping an ideal environment that empowers practitioners to hone their skills; advance their disciplines and enhance their capacities to enjoy meaningful economic benefit, while safeguarding and celebrating our unique cultural heritage and identity.
One critical step is the identification and registration of practitioners in order to create an accurate picture of the existing community and their needs in order to effectively serve. To this end, the Board intends to enhance efforts its portfolio of supports in order to empower stakeholders to effectively compete and succeed. This form allows for practitioners to self identify and register with the craft house and ensure priority access to its development supports.
