Dear KES Parent:

Kittitas Elementary teacher assignments are prepared by a staff team that includes the principal, your child’s grade level teachers, and pertinent specialists. The team’s goal is to create classes that are balanced with respect to gender, instructional levels, behavior challenges, and special needs while ensuring the best fit for your son or daughter. Parent input is a key piece in this process, so please be sure to fill this form out carefully. If you do not have a teacher preference, there is no action required at this time.

Requests made after the deadline will not be considered under any circumstance.
If the teacher you have requested unexpectedly leaves KES--or moves to another grade level assignment--your student’s teacher will be the newly hired staff (except for 3rd grade). If have questions, please call the school at 855-380-8843 or email abby_jones@ksd403.org.
Remember that parent requests are not guaranteed, as KES reserves the right to make final placement decisions.
