CCOR Financial Talk in collaboration with MD Financial
Dear Ophthalmology Residents,

Thank you for completing the survey we sent out a couple of months ago about financial topics you all are interested in. We are excited to announce that we partnered with MD Financial to put together a panel event that addresses all of the most highly requested topics including: common financial mistakes by residents/fellows, when/how to approach incorporation, job contracts/negotiation, and tax optimization for early career staff.

The event will be Sunday May 29 from 7:30-9:00pm ET and moderated by our CCOR President, Michael Nguyen. The speakers will be as follows:

Marc Kraichati, Early Career Education Specialist at MD Financial
Nicky Huq, Lawyer specializing in contract assessment, negotiations, and business law as relevant to physicians
Bonnie Tan, Partner and a member of MNP’s Professionals Services tax accounting group

These speakers all have experience working with ophthalmologists and will be making their talks relevant to our specialty. There will be references to the profile done by the CMA. There will be a question period at the end of the session.

If you are interested in attending and have any questions to submit prior to the session please fill out this google form with your email address where the Zoom link will be sent out prior to the event.

We are looking forward to this informative session. Thank you and we hope to see you there!

Best regards,

CCOR Executive
