SHS Membership Application

This is the official online application form for corresponding membership in Slovak Histochemical Society (Slovenská histochemická spoločnosť, SHS), which is the end recipient and ultimate owner of all submitted data.  European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules apply, and a full copy of all your responses will be sent to your e-mail address entered below, for your permanent record and verification.  Our web services do not collect any other information about you or your online activities, and we do not use cookies or any tracking tools whatsoever.  Please check our website for more information and do not hesitate to contact us with data correction requests (you can easily use this form for all future updates) or with any eventual questions at histox@post.com .

APPLICABLE MEMBERSHIP BYLAWS:
1.  Membership in our organization is voluntary and requires a knowingly submitted personal application.
2.  Applicants have no right to be granted any form of membership, and our organization can decline, reject, ignore or cancel any membership application with or without notice and with or without justification.
3.  Membership is limited to verifiable real physical persons only, and is open internationally.  Legal entities cannot apply, although they can be openly represented by physical persons mediating their corporate interests and opinions.
4.  Accepted members can request to terminate their membership at any time by sending their personal paper or electronic resignation letter.  Verification procedures and internal paperwork processing rules apply.
5.  Membership termination does not end confidentiality duties and does not erase the former member's debts or other obligations to our organization originated but unconsolidated during the membership period.
6.  All membership activities are exclusively internal affairs of our organization.  They can be carried on in addition to, but cannot be mixed with or being parts of, activities of other physical or legal entities (e.g., employment duties, diplomatic missions, artistic performance, contract work, journalism, or other).
7.  No membership activities shall be performed without prior managerial order, permission or approval.
8.  Unless officially released by our organization and without explicit permission to share with other members or externally, any and all membership activities, internal matters, internal documents, disputes, work created by our members and/or delegated contractors, and internally exchanged information, are proprietary and confidential items belonging to our organization and specifically to the organizational unit(s) associated with a given member.  Special care and attention must be paid to protecting our unpublished research data, grant proposals, inventions, business relations, and other intellectual assets - not only during the membership duration, but also after membership termination.
9.  All aspects of membership and membership activities are regulated by internal organizational principles and managerial decisions, with an assigned moderator being the primary contact point for every member in all matters.
