Stakeholder input on ARP ESSER
The Finneytown Local School District has received $2,734,474.97 in American Rescue Plan (ARP) ESSER Ill funds to be used to address our pandemic recovery and be better prepared for future events. These reimbursable funds are available to the district through September 30, 2024.We are required to reserve not less than 20 percent of our total ARP ESSER allocation to address learning loss.

We are seeking employee and community input as part of our planning process on how the funds should be spent. There are stipulations as to how the funds may be used, including an approved plan by ODE. Additional information from the assurances page from the ODE's application is included below:

* That the SUBGRANTEE will provide reasonable opportunities for participation by and outreach to teachers, family members, and other interested agencies, organizations, and individuals in the planning for and operation of each program, as may be necessary according to statute.

* That the SUBGRANTEE will, where applicable, use federal funds to supplement and not supplant State and local funds expended for educational purposes and, to the extent practicable, increase the fiscal effort that would, in the absence of such funds, be made by the SUBGRANTEE for educational purposes.

Questions and insights outside of this survey can be directed to  Dr. Laurie Banks (Superintendent), David Oliverio (Treasurer), and/or Dr. Jen Dinan (Assistant Superintendent).
