All volunteers are asked to read and act in accordance with the following rules of engagement.

Engagement
To the best of their ability, all volunteers shall work in collaboration with the Artist (Silvia Lopez Chavez), the Project Team, which term includes the owner and/or operator of the project site, as well as  other participating volunteers, and the public in general, as part of this community project to be organized throughout the Leather District neighborhood from July – August 2020. All volunteers will be expected to assist the Artist and Project Team with a variety of on-site support tasks to help facilitate the completion of the project in a safe and timely manner. In addition to stenciling and painting, other tasks might include, but may not be limited to: organizing materials, site preparation, flagging pedestrian/vehicle traffic to help ensure a safe work environment and helping return supplies to off-site storage.
 
Liability
Volunteers shall indemnify and hold harmless the Artist and Project Team from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage or expense arising in any way from the Volunteer’s performance of services. Volunteers must also understand that the Artist and Project Team are not responsible for any expense or liability incurred as a result of my participation in this project, including medical expenses due to any sickness or injury incurred as a result. Volunteers will also indemnify and hold harmless the Artist and Project Team from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage or expense arising in any way from the volunteer’s performance of services.

Image Release
I grant the Artist and Project Team permission to use my likeness in photographs, video recordings or electronic images in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of the Artist and Project Team and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize the Artist and Project Team to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute these images for purposes of publicizing Artist and Project Team's programs or for any other lawful purpose. In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of my image. I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge Artist and Producer from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization. I understand that there will be no financial or other remuneration for recording me, either for initial or subsequent transmission.
 
For children under 18 years of age: I confirm that I am the legal guardian of the child named and that I grant permission for this release on behalf of the child.

By completing the volunteer sign-up form and signing-in at the beginning of a shift, volunteers thereby agree with the terms and conditions outlined in the above waiver by the Artist Silvia Lopez Chavez (DBA Chavez Design Studio) and Project Team.
