Parents/Guardians or schools should complete this application form to begin the application process for the Virtual Academy for the 2022 - 2023 School Year.

For SY23, acceptance is for students with medical conditions as documented by an active IEP/504 that results in virtual learning being the best learning format for the student.

Enrollment is limited to one school year but families may reapply annually. Students maintain their seat their physical school while attending the Virtual Academy. Students will be required to complete all State Tests at their physical school.

Application Process:
Step 1: Complete This Form
Step 2: Virtual Academy will email the Parent/Guarding the Virtual Academy Referral Form
Step 3: Parent & Doctor will complete Virtual Academy Referral Form
Step 4: Submit the completed referral to https://tinyurl.com/VAReferralsubmission
Step 5: Enrollment will be based upon a random lottery of applicants*.
Step 6: Virtual Academy will notify applicants on July 15th of their acceptance or waitlist status.
Step 7: Parent/Guardian must review & agree to The Virtual Academy Learning Plan prior to enrollment if accepted.  A copy is attached below.  VA will send a digital Docusign version for the parent/guardian signature.

*Students not accepted due to capacity limits will be placed on a waitlist. These students must continue to attend their physical school.
If the Virtual Academy reaches its capacity limit, students will be placed on waiting list for the given grade level. Wait-listed students will be enrolled when/if space becomes available.
