AICP Funding Awards: Spring 2025 Application

The Women & Planning Division proudly provides flexible funding awards, helping our members achieve and maintain their AICP credentials.

The Spring 2025 AICP Award application portal is open between March 18 - April 11, 2025. Funding award recipients will be notified by May 2, 2025.

The Spring 2025 AICP Certification Cycle opens April 1, 2025 at 9:00 am CST and closes April 30, 2025 at 3:00 pm CST. For more information, visit One Path to AICP.

***WPD will only consider AICP exam registration and AICP application requests for the Spring 2025 cycle. This does not apply to funding requests for AICP dues and exam preparation materials, but all reimbursement requests and supporting documents must be submitted prior to September 15, 2025.***

Applicants must be current members of the Women & Planning Division in good standing to be eligible for funding. Applications from non-members will not be considered. Please note that all funding is awarded on a reimbursement basis. Awardees will be reimbursed for qualified expenses after submitting receipts/ proof of payment to the Division. The number of awards is based on the number of eligible funding requests made to the Division. Members previously receiving any of the awards are not eligible for that same award, but may request funding in a different award category.

Applicants may select one of the following flexible funding awards:

AICP Annual Dues Award Provides one year of applicant's annual AICP dues. Award maximum: $196 (based on APA/ AICP's most recent member dues schedule).
AICP Exam Preparation Award: Provides funding for exam preparation course materials, books, and/or other support the applicant needs to successfully prepare for the AICP exam. Eligible uses include transportation, exam preparation courses, childcare, and other situation-specific needs. Award maximum: $300.
AICP Exam Registration Award: Provides funding for AICP Exam Registration. Award maximum: $305
AICP Application Award: Provides funding for the AICP Application Fee (formerly "Experience Assessment" fees). Award maximum: $305.
AICP Exam Transfer Fee: Provides funding to change the date of your scheduled exam. Award maximum: $100.
AICP Application Decision Appeal Fee: Provides funding to appeal an AICP application decision. Award maximum: $100.
