The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art is committed to ethical and inclusive ways of mentoring future generations of museum professionals, cultivating diversity in the field, and to providing interns/mentees with meaningful learning and networking opportunities. We currently participate in the CUNY Cultural Corps program for both fall and spring semesters, and encourage current CUNY students interested in internships/mentorships to apply.

We also review applications for institutionally-sponsored internships each year, in which students or recent graduates are provided with stipends or credit by their educational institution. Due to our small staff capacity, these opportunities are limited. Interns may be placed in any Museum department, depending on their interests, skills, and Museum staff resources.  Applications are reviewed in April for summer opportunities.
